NANCY DIAS is an artist who enjoys
painting in watercolor, acrylic, pastel
and pen & ink, with her specialty
being mixed medium pen & ink with watercolor.
Nancy moved to The Villages in June of 2002 from Rhode Island with her husband Wally, and while she spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother, the desire to paint burned within her. However, it wasn't until after she moved to Florida that she began to paint seriously.
Nancy quickly found her passion, and her talent blossomed, her thirst for knowledge has led her to many workshops and individual art classes.
Her pen & ink
w/watercolor have earned her high marks for creativity and exceptional detail.

Many of her creations depict local landmarks, several have earned her ribbons,
this pen & ink and acrylic were awarded within a few weeks of each other.

The Villages
has selected three of
her paintings to hang in
The Villages
Charter Schools. "Butterscotch" can be found in the gallery.
Nancy is a member
of The Villages Art League (VAL),
and The Visual Arts Association (VAA) where she served as their Vice President.
